WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching recognises that you are the
expert in your own life and will coactively work with you, from a non judgemental perspective, to help you to clarify your goals, identify the obstacles holding you back, and then come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle.
ADHD Coaches have specialised training and understand that not everybody has the same perspectives and challenges. We can provide appropriate strategies and insights tailored to a more nuanced approach to achieving Goals.
Coaching sessions are strictly confidential. Unless we have your permission, we will not discuss coaching with anyone, including partners, parents, family members or employers. Our client list is also confidential.
Information will only be shared if you decide to include someone on your journey.
HOW DO I KNOW IF COACHING WILL WORK FOR ME?
Whether Coaching works for you or not will to some degree be up to you. Coaching isn't a magic wand quick fix, although you may feel less distressed quite quickly with support and reframing of the challenges you are facing.
Coaching is about giving you the tools to practise and the skills to leverage to move you forward, enable you to make different choices and get to different outcomes.
Coaching is goal focused so you will be able to see it is working based on the overall goal you have set and the outcomes you achieve per session.
Coaching is about your empowerment.
We work together to enable you to set the agenda and we agree a progress timeline. At the end of each session and at the end of the agreed phase we assess our progress and discuss next steps.
